Olivas Nursery Botanica started as a backyard obsession. What began with a few cuttings traded between neighbors grew into a greenhouse, then the nursery you're looking at now — tucked into the edge of Miami's agricultural district, where the air is thick and the light is generous.
We specialize in holistic, spiritual, and ornamental plants, and the kind of plants that make people stop mid-sentence when they walk into a room. Every plant here was started from seed or cutting on our property. Nothing is imported wholesale and retagged.
The work is slow by design. With love for nature and passion for plants, we think that patience and love shows in the plant.

Grown here, not sourced
Every plant in our collection was propagated on our property. We don't buy in wholesale stock and resell it. If we don't grow it, we don't sell it.
Honest about difficulty
Some plants are easy. Some are not. We'll tell you which is which before you buy, not after. A plant that thrives in your home is better for everyone than one that doesn't.
Open to questions
We read every message ourselves. If your plant is struggling six months after you bought it, reach out. We'd rather help you fix it than have you give up on the plant.
